Every number tells a story — a story of impact, connection, and community.
In 2025, TaskForce Prevention & Community Services collaborated with more than 30 partner organizations across Chicago to ensure LGBTQ+ youth of color have access to affirming care and essential resources. The organization provided over 500 HIV and STI tests, connecting 100% of newly diagnosed individuals to treatment and care.
Beyond healthcare, TaskForce distributed 60,000 pounds of food through its pantry, hosted 150+ free fitness classes, and helped 200 individuals enroll in programs like SNAP and Medicaid. The clothing closet now serves one in four participants, and the Gender Violence Prevention program has supported more than 100 individuals this year alone.
These numbers reflect more than outcomes — they represent lives changed and a community strengthened by trust, partnership, and care.
Now, hear directly from the people behind those numbers. Watch this short video to see how TaskForce continues to create a lasting impact on Chicago’s West Side.
