Our free Fitness, Health, and Wellness classes offer welcoming, all-level workouts designed to help you move, build strength, and recharge.

TaskForce’s Health & Wellness Program is a free, community-centered fitness initiative designed to support your physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Our weekly classes are created by professional trainers and designed for beginner-level fitness while accommodating all ranges of athleticism and mobility. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to build consistency, you are welcome here.

Classes may include:

  • Dance
  • Strength Training
  • High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
  • Mobility & Stretch
  • Boxing & Self-Defense


Each class is designed to be accessible, supportive, and adaptable to different fitness levels.

Rotating Weekly Special Programs

In addition to weekly fitness classes, we offer rotating special sessions to support whole-person wellness.

  • Group Therapy: Meet with a licensed therapist in a group setting to build healthy coping mechanisms and strengthen your mental health skills.
  • Nutrition Class & Meal Prepping: Learn practical tools for building a sustainable relationship with food and tailoring your nutrition to your needs.
  • Recovery Days: From assisted stretching to holistic recovery approaches, these sessions help you better understand your body and build confidence in recovery practices.
  • HIV/PrEP Health Booth: Connect with TaskForce’s medical team to learn more about PrEP and other HIV prevention and management tools.


Special Events

Throughout the year, we host larger wellness-focused events open to the community.

  • Spa Days: In this special event you will be able to interact with various spa treatments and explore wellness behaviors. You can receive professional massages and learn how to pamper yourself in an attainable way.

  • Health Fairs: Meet medical and well-being professionals, connect with community organizations, and access valuable health resources.

Incentives

Although our classes are free, we understand that barriers can make consistent participation challenging. To support attendance and recognize commitment, we offer incentives.

  • Weekly Incentives: Each time you attend class, you are entered into a weekly raffle. Winners receive a $25 incentive to celebrate their participation.
  • Monthly Incentives: Participants with the highest monthly attendance receive a $100 grocery gift card.
  • If needed, we can also provide CTA transit passes to assist with transportation to and from class.
